A Kuvva is basically an image, a wallpaper, a backgound, a theme, maybe even a cover. Well, you get the picture.
We’ve noticed a lot of people seem to pronounce Kuvva as Koevva when in fact it’s to be pronounced as /kʌvˈva/ or in other words, ‘cover’ in slang, so “covva”.

We’re sorry that you don’t like this week’s set! However, it’s our job to bring new artists from all different sorts of genres. It’s bound to happen that we reveal a wallpaper set you don’t like. If this is the case, we encourage you to subscribe to Kuvva and create your own ‘Favorite Set’ with the wallpapers you do like. Alternatively, let us know of artists you appreciate and we’ll try to get them on Kuvva if they haven’t already.

Your Twitter profile can’t shine in new glory because something just doesn’t work like it should? Firstly if you can be as specific as possible we can help you more effectively. However, before you get all frustrated just check our FAQ’s or email us via support@kuvva.com and somebody will rush to your rescue.
Please check the settings of your Twitter profile. If you go to settings > design > change background image > make sure to select the wallpaper image instead of ‘Don't use a background image’. This will solve a lot.
Chill. In case it was not one of your own accounts, (the account of your boss or ex-girlfriend) take this chance and tweet something hilariously funny from the respective account (we said funny, not offensive). Then visit Kuvva.com, click on "My Settings" in the footer bar and correct your mistake as if nothing ever happened. Now sign out of Twitter, sign in again with the right account and subscribe again.
For now it's the only way to get that visual awesomeness on your Twitter profile. We understand your dilemma. Unfortunately there is not much we can do about it. The Twitter API only allows applications (like Kuvva) to ask their users for "Read" or for "Read and Write" access to a profile. Our service needs "Read and Write" access in order to change you background picture (which equals updating your profile). "Write" automatically includes all the things mentioned above. Of course we won't do anything else but keeping your background fresh and clean. That's a promise.
It may happen from time to time that your Twitter page has a hard time refreshing to a new wallpaper or a new weekly set. There are two ways that you can fix this problem. One way is by emptying the cache of the browser you use (This option can be found in the preferences or options). The second detour is by uninstalling the app from your Twitter account and reinstall it from the Kuvva website. If that doesn’t work, please contact support@kuvva.com and we’ll run a full-scale investigation op!
Don’t worry! There’s a solution to every problem. Unfortunately, even though our Kuvva App may be the best thing that has ever happened to you, we admit that it’s not perfect (yet!). But hey, we’re a start-up! So bear with us if you come across any technical issues and let us know if you find any bugs via email (support@kuvva.com) or you can toss us a tweet at @kuvva.
Yes! However, this feature currently only works with our Mac application. Unfortunately, you Window lads have to wait till we come up with a Windows update. Anyhow, if you have the Mac version, using the slider in your preferences; you can increase or decrease your wallpaper rotation frequency as well as set it to do it manually!

Are you sure? Check your downloads. Our super-computer; Marvin detects which OS you use and should offer up the desktop app for you. Once you click “get it” or have “liked” us (not licked us) the desktop app should automatically be downloaded. Depending upon your browser the application will either appear in your downloads folder or in a folder you have specified for downloads. Still having issues? Mail us and we’ll mail you one.
A Facebook app is currently on our big to-do list and we hope to visually awesome up your Facebook profiles in the near future. Yes. The gates foundation hasn’t managed to scrape together enough to sort Vista and some older OS. We are continually attempting to make the app available for every man and beast, however the outlook for Vista is very 98!
Having downloaded the desktop application from Kuvva. You will be able to click on the Kuvva app (top right for Mac users and bottom right for PC users). A pop-up or drop-down box appears and there you are able to Tweet your favourites, skip forward an image or go back an image.

We like to call the images Kuvvas. And a set usually consists of 7 Kuvvas selected by the same curator. Every Monday Kuvva releases a new set that you can subscribe to. This means if you subscribe to a set on a Thursday, Kuvva will style your Twitter profile daily till Sunday and then automatically restore your profile to its original settings. Unless you tell us differently in your Account Settings or manually subscribe to the next set.
Depending on whether you are subscribed to Kuvva or not, there are three streams; the featured artist stream, the trending stream and finally, your favorites stream. You can pick the stream you wish to use via your Kuvva app preferences for your desktop and via the Kuvva Account Settings for your Twitter app.

Every Monday Kuvva releases a new set of ‘must have’ images that you can subscribe to in advance. You can do that manually by visiting Kuvva.com or simply sign up and manage your subscription to automatically update in your account settings. If you forget, can’t be bothered or go on holiday we make sure to restore your old account settings after one week. As if we were never there.
There may be issues with the applications that it doesn’t switch to the new set. We’re aware of this bug and we’ve put it on our big to-do list! For the time being, the best thing to do for now is by right-clicking the icon on your task bar, and press on next in the drop-down menu, and it that doesn’t work... restart the Kuvva application!
There are 2 ways. The easy and the hard way. Take the easiest road to a sexy profile and subscribe to our email and/or Twitter update in your account settings. That way we’ll tell you what’s happening, who’s coming and what’s hot. And for those of you who like rocky detours mark Monday in your weekly agenda and don’t forget to visit Kuvva.com.

As long as you signed in with Twitter you can access your settings via Kuvva.com. At the bottom of the page you’ll find “My settings”. In case you are not signed in click on the sign in with twitter link and go from there.
