Oliver Jeffers was brought up in Northern Ireland and now lives and works in Brooklyn, NY. He makes art, he also makes drawings, a picture book or two and a few other things. Jeffers work takes many forms and his illustration clients include The Guardian, United Airlines, Lavazza Coffee, Newsweek International, Her Royal Majesty the Queen of England, and the Irish Times for which he received the Gold Icad Award for Illustration. The children application 'The heart and the bottle', got selected as Apple iPad app of the week. His drawings are childlike and playful, the simplicity of lines create powerful emotions among both parents and children.
