Oliver Jeffers was brought up in Northern Ireland and now lives and works in Brooklyn, NY. He makes art, he makes drawings, he's even made a picture book or two, as well as a few other things. Jeffers' work takes many forms. His illustration clients include The Guardian, United Airlines, Lavazza Coffee, Newsweek International, Her Royal Majesty the Queen of England, and the Irish Times, for which he received the Gold Icad Award for Illustration. The children's application 'The Heart and the Bottle', was selected as an Apple iPad app of the week. His drawings are childlike and playful, the simplicity of lines creating powerful emotions among both parents and children.
