Jack Hughes was born in the summer of ‘89 and raised just outside of Croydon, South London. He studied Illustration and Animation at Kingston University and was quickly snapped up by illustration agency YCN before he’d graduated. Working full-time as a freelance illustrator since, Jack has enjoyed a varied working year with clients such as Google, The New York Times, Hardie Grant Books, Time Out London, and Honda–just to name a few. Jack draws inspiration from multiple avenues, having a keen interest in mid-century design, fashion, architecture, furniture and graphics, as well as an (albeit amateur) passion for science, nature, and technology. In his spare time Jack enjoys listening to music (current playlist includes Hot Chip, alt-J, and Beach House), reading (The God Delusion and Truman Capote) and playing video and board games (Fallout 1 and Arkham Horror!).
