Carla Fernández Andrade (Vigo, Spain 1983) has always been interested in aesthetic experiences and this led her to study Communication Degree and Philosophy. She began to take photos 5 years ago for recording experienced sensations from a melancholy observation, and because of a necessity to travel anywhere to see and understand. Her work is halfway through documentary, fantastic and experimentation. Carla is interested in the universe of dreams because they aren’t censured by rationality. This explains why she creates magic landscapes where optical laws have changed. Her pictures talk about the ecstatic relationship between men and world and they also try to reflect on about the idea that despite control desires of men, landscape is something we dispossess.
