Carlijn Claire Potma is a freelance writer, food creative and artist from The Netherlands, currently residing in Amsterdam. Her work is characterized by a synthesis of detailed, realistic drawings, sharp lines, collage techniques and abstract patterns - inspired by nature, tattoo culture, history and her splendid collection of curiosities. Carlijn graduated in Archaeology & Art History and Journalism & New Media from Leiden University, joined an Honours Programme at KABK Den Haag and gathered experience in Berlin, London and New York. Because life is full of slashes, she's also running an underground supper club, working on her career as a tattoo artist, writing for Vogue, developing an app and expanding her embroidery skills.
