Marleen Sleeuwits (b. 1980) is a Dutch photographer with a MA in Photography from the Art Academy of Breda. Her work focuses on the state of disconnection that arises from dead corners of office buildings, waiting rooms or empty corridors in hotels. Recently, Sleeuwits started constructing new environments within such spaces, using materials she finds there. She was selected as a 2012 Foam Talent.
The Foam annual Talent Call is designed to spot exceptional young photographers from all over the world. Every year, Foam Magazine dedicates its Fall issue to publishing the work of selected talents. Foam is looking for Talent for the new Talent Call. Submit your work before April 1, 2013 on their website.
