Patrick Savile

Patrick Savile

London, UK

Having grown up on a solid diet of weird 70s sci-fi and fantasy, and having inherited his father’s Airbrush pen, Patrick now creates work that harks back to the world of prog album-art and looks forward to the future he hopes he will one day inhabit. He is also influenced massively by the world of comics and zines, not so much stylistically, but insofar as his work all has a narrative, however oblique it may seem. He used to screen print things for a living, but has since hidden away in his London lair, and generally works with pixels, as opposed to benday dots. He has created work for album covers and book covers for the likes of Kindle, Sonic Router Records, Secret 7” and Project Mooncircle, amongst a constellation of other people.
