Retro, naïve, childish… These are some words that come to mind when describing Pablo Pintachan’s work. Although it is an aesthetic language that he identifies with, he uses this to work with concepts that don't necessarily belong to a kids world. Pablo is a full time freelance illustrator from Spain who’s work has been featured in publications such as Monocle Magazine, Anorak Magazine, Astrapi Magazine and Jamie Oliver Magazine. Next to that he’s developed greeting card collections with 1973 and apparel and accessories collections with Naranjas Chinas and Badge Bomb and has also designed packaging for several brands, cd covers and lately illustrated a series of travel guides for families. He is a confessed liquorice addict, Lego player, lover of old sci-fi movies and collector of children's illustration books.
