Kuvva and Doinel
After our first very successful set in collaboration with Doinel they are now back with a set from photographer Tony Ellwood.
As a ‘moving gallery' with roots in London, Doinel’s unique approach allows it to constantly adapt, bringing artist and collector together. As an extension of this philosophy, Doinel has collaborated with Kuvva to present a unique series showcasing a selection of notable contemporary photographers every other week for the months of February and March.
Tony Ellwood was born in Muenster, Germany, but developed his passion for photography whilst living in Cape Town, where in 1996 he began assisting several professional photographers. In 1997 he moved to Brazil and freelanced for several newspapers and agencies.
Having settled in the UK since 2000, he has continued to work on a freelance basis whilst successfully completing a BA Hons in Editorial Photography at the University of Brighton.
Tony has participated in and helped curate several solo and group shows of his work and his pictures have been featured in publications such as “Creative Review”, “The Financial Times” and "Amateur Photographer Magazine"(UK), as well as "L'Echo" and "Trends-Tendances" (Belgium).
